Letter from the Taita Taveta CPSB Chairperson

Greetings,

Since I took over as the second chairperson of Taita Taveta County Public Service Board in 2020, together with my colleagues, we have continuously put measures to make the Board as transparent and accountable as possible. In that spirit we have added this platform to improve access to information on processes and activities we have undertaken and plan to implement as a Board.

As our vision clearly states, we seek to be ‘an excellent source of competitive manpower that meets the aspirations of the county residents’, the Board has remained independent putting merit and fairness to the fore in discharging our core functions.

We are glad to inform the public that we have been able, with the support of Executive and stakeholders, to build our roadmap in form of a strategic plan to guide our activities for the next five years. We encourage you to read the document which will also help you understand our mandate and the steps towards realization of our vision.

Covid-19 pandemic has posed challenges that call for enhancement of our operations. This platform and upcoming portal will significantly reduce and at some point eliminate physical visits to the Board in sourcing of information or even manual job applications.
